Hillsong Church Apostasy: Promotes Islam, Catholicism, and Homosexuality!

Hillsong Church promotes many unorthodox, as well as heretical beliefs. Hillsong Church was founded in 1983 by Brian Houston and his wife Bobbie in Australia. Brian Houston stepped down from the church in Sept 2021 but remains the global president of this international church network. Brian Houston endorses Chrislam, a heretical belief that Islamic people and Christians are brothers. They believe that Muslims are saved apart from the cross. However, to be truly saved you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart in the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. You must repent of your sins and make him Lord. Jesus is the only way to the Father and without him you are lost.

Brian Houston also endorses the Roman Catholic Church and all of it's pagan practices. He has preached his ecumenical unity doctrine to the extreme. He now includes Islam in his heretical anti-biblical beliefs. He also refuses to preach on repentance like Joel Osteen. He is more concerned with pleasing people with a feel good, positive, self help message, than the truth. His church puts on a big show they call worship while refusing to teach what it means to be born again. God's Word teaches that before Christ returns there will be a great falling away (apostasy).

Brian Houston also refuses to teach what the Bible says about homosexuality. According to scripture, homosexuality is an abomination to God and no practicing homosexual shall inherit the Kingdom of God. Houston says they are just sexually confused and refuses to call it sin. He also endorses the prosperity gospel. All of his churches preach the get wealth from God heresy. This false doctrine justifies pastors heaping wealth upon themselves from the offering plate.

Hillsong NYC youth pastor Diego Simila played Hillsong's naked cowboy at a women's church conference. He sang and played a guitar with no shirt on. How many lines will these people cross? Where is the fear and reverence for the Lord? Do they really believe in God, or is this all about money?  There is no shame for a church that does not teach repentance.

Carl Lentz the pastor of the 6000 member NYC church was fired last year for moral failure. He was known as the celebrity pastor. Also, Brian Houston was charged with concealing his late father's child sex crimes. His pastor father raped children. This scandal led to Houston resigning his church this year. This cult needs to be exposed and shut down. Please consider the following scriptures.

2 Thess 2:Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Matt 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The harlot church is known as Mystery Babylon. This is the unfaithful and wicked church. God's Word says to come out of her.

Rev 18:For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

2Peter 2:But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. ...

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Messianic Judaism Exposed

Gal 5:4 (NKJV) You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

 Rom 7:4 (NKJV) Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

Are you married to the Torah or Christ? Messianic Judaism, also known as the Hebrew Root Movement, is a very popular cult that twists scripture to bring people into captivity. I have family and friends that are messianic, and I have also attended Shabbat services. I am very qualified to expose this form of apostasy. The Lord spoke to me in an audible voice and said, "Messianic Judaism is a stronghold of Satan". My wife and I both had a dream on the same night that Satan was bringing people into bondage through this form of legalism. Gal 5:4 listed above states that you are estranged from Christ and fallen from grace if you attempt to be justified by both the Law and Christ.

Many Messianic groups will tell you that they believe that they are saved by Grace alone but keep the Torah out of obedience. The same will later tell you that you must keep the seventh day, as well as dietary laws to be truly Saved. They continually contradict themselves on the issue of salvation.

 A messianic Rabbi that I knew in the past was having an affair with a married lady in the congregation. A member that left his congregation was seen at a wedding eating sausage. The Rabbi stood up and turned on the fake tears and said, "Oh brother Mike is fallen"! Please let us pray that He will be restored. This same Rabbi said you are saved by grace alone but now considers a person fallen from grace for eating sausages at a wedding! However, he justified his affair with the married woman by saying her Baptist husband was oppressive because he disagreed with Torah observance. He also advised members of his cult to only marry messianic or Orthodox Jewish people. Wait a minute! You are saved by grace but it's good to marry an Orthodox Jew who does Not believe in Christ! These are examples of the contradictions they all teach.

The Apostle Paul warned against the teachings of the Judaizers of his day trying to bring people into bondage over the old covenant dietary laws, as well dictating whom they should marry. The same is true today, messianics are encouraged to marry Torah observant people and not Christians. The line is quite often blurred between Messianic and orthodox Jews. Many Messianic people will judge you over eating bacon, or catfish, however they have no problem with watching all kinds of movies on television or going to theaters. Paul referred to this as doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1=5).

1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Another messianic Rabbi that I knew of pulled unsuspecting people into his group by claiming he believed in Christ. He later taught them that Orthodox Jews were saved by keeping Torah. He claimed that Christ's sacrifice upon the cross did not provide atonement or salvation. He said God demonstrated his love for man-kind through his son's death but did not do away with the need for sacrifices. This guy even sacrificed a bull once.  Another messianic leader that I knew of taught that Christ was really Michael the archangel come in the flesh and Not God. I could say a lot about the many heresies that these groups teach.

The mark of a cult group is that they will lower Christ from Divinity and elevate themselves. Many messianic groups are from Seventh Day Adventist backgrounds. like the leader mentioned above, they teach that Christ is Michael the archangel and Not God. The majority of messianic leaders teach that Christ is Elohim, but Not Yahweh. Elohim to them means a god, or the Son of God, but Not part of the Holy Trinity of God. The belief in the Holy Trinity is necessary for salvation. There is one God, Yahweh, revealed in three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To deny this is to be fallen from grace and held captive by legalism.

 There are many similarities between the Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, and messianic Judaism. Many messiancs refuse to call themselves Christians. They consider themselves superior to Christians and often mock them in Christian on-line groups. This arrogance does not come from God and is very carnal.

The early New Testament Christians, as well as Christians today, were and are, being influenced by those who teach that we are required to keep the Mosaic law.  The Apostles and Elders of the church at Jerusalem, under the leadership of James, the brother of Christ, made a decree concerning this matter. They were all in agreement, that the keeping of the Law should not be required of the Gentile Christians. They only asked that they abstain from sexual immorality, eating food sacrificed to idols, eating of things strangled, as well as the consumption of blood.  No further requirements were put upon these new converts.  But the New Testament is clear that we need to be born again in order to be truly saved. We must repent and turn away from our sins and put our faith in Christ to be saved. We are justified in the eyes of God by faith alone in the finished work of Christ upon the cross. We are saved by GRACE (unearned favor) alone and not by works. You cannot combine grace with Torah observance. You are either married to Christ (Grace) or to the Torah.

The Jerusalem Decree

Acts15:19  Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God,  20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.  21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” 22 Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. 23 They wrote this letter by them:  The apostles, the elders, and the brethren, To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.

24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law” —to whom we gave no such commandment—  25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,  26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth.  28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:  29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.
Galatians 3:1  O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?  2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?  3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

Galatians 3: 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”  11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”  12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 Purpose of the Law

Galatians 3: 19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.  20 Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.  22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.  23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.  24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.  25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Galatians 4: Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all,  2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.  3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.  4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born  of a woman, born under the law,  5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”  7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Two Covenants

Galatians 4: 1 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law?  22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman.  23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise,  24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar—  25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children—  26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.  27 For it is written: “Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children than she who has a husband.” 28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.  29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.  30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”  31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

Galatians 5: 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.  2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.  3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.  4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.  5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.  6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Galatians 5: 13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Dietary laws

Mark 7: 14 When He had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear Me, everyone, and understand:  15 There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.  16 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!” 17 When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.  18 So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,  19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”  20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.  21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,  22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.  23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,  2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,  3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.  4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;  5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Romans 14:1  Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.  2 For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.  3 Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.  4 Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. 5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.  6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.
