Amos Chapters 2 and 8: A Warning From God

 

Today, the angel of the Lord told me to read Amos chapters 2 and 8. Although this passage is about the sins of Judah against the poor and needy, it directly pertains to America as well. God's judgment is about to fall upon the United States and it's harlot churches.

 Many who claim to be Christians have lost all, or most, compassion for the poor, sick, and needy. They have been blinded by their loyalty to the MAGA version of the Republican Party. They don't want to see their tax dollars go toward helping the poor and sick. They don't care that all federal funding has been cut off from food banks and school lunch programs, SNAP, or that millions are losing their health care. However, they don't mind that over one and a half trillion taxpayer dollars are going to the military and ICE. The merchants of the land are unnecessarily price gouging the public with overpriced food and gasoline as well. Prices could be lower, but greed prevails over compassion.

The UN admits that there will not be enough food for the world in 2027. They are preparing for a huge spike in global hunger. God hears the cries of the poor and hungry, as well as sees all of the greed and price gouging. Heaven will answer with fire!

Amos 8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, 5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? 6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? 7 The Lord hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. 8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Amos 2:6 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

An overview of Amos Chapter 8: This passage highlights the economic greed of the merchants who manipulate the weights, scales, and prices in the marketplace—even as they continue with their religious practices. Dishonest merchants, though, mixed the sweepings with the grain and sold it as pure grain to the poor.

Amos treats this as more than bad business. Amos condemned unjust business practice as a religious problem—a sin against the justice and righteousness of God. In response, God swears an oath, and by this oath God binds himself to a specific, unalterable course of action.

The judgment includes darkness, mourning, and a "famine" of God's word. In times of great distress Israel turned to the Lord for a prophetic word of hope or guidance, but in the coming judgment the Lord will answer all such appeals with silence—the awful silence of God.

Due to Trump's tariffs and wars, the world's economies are in dire straits. In the next few years, it is going to get a lot worse. Groceries, gas, water, electricity, as well as real estate, are already unaffordable for most.

Trump is asking for 1.5 trillion dollars to build up the military, as well as to build new missiles, and advanced nuclear bombs. History has proven that when a nation spends money on weapons, it intends to use them. Obviously, this military buildup is for offensive warfare.

Trump has recently said several times now, that we can't afford Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, or daycare services, because we are involved in wars. He doesn't care about the welfare of the American people because he is fixated on himself, and his desires. Trump is a man of war and conquest. He needs his military parades, Triumphant Arch, golden statues of himself, as well as a ballroom in the White House.

In the recent past Trump said," Let the poor children starve." Sadly, he meant it.

Many people believe that the poor are under a curse of poverty and God must be punishing them. This mindset is due to many decades of the influence of prosperity gospel preachers on Christianity. Kenneth Copeland has a net worth of over one billion dollars, and he has scorn for the poor. His vast wealth will not buy his way into Heaven, but it will ensure his place in Hell. Christ told the rich young ruler to sell his vast possessions and give the money to the poor and come follow him. You cannot serve God and money because only one can be your master.

We are commanded to help the poor and the sick, as well as not to show partiality to anyone. There are Many churches that have a VIP section roped off in front of their church, or on the stage. The big tithers, guest ministers, deacons, elders, or best dressed are honored with these reserved seats. James said that when the man with the gold ring and goodly apparel is given the choice seat and the poor man is made to stand you show partiality. The prosperity gospel type churches are teaching the polar opposite to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sadly, their bad influence has corrupted many churches.

James 2:2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

Matt 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matt 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Europe Prepares for Possible War with Russia

 

Europe is stepping up its security and civil-defense preparedness amid growing concerns over Russia-linked hybrid threats, including drones, sabotage and cyberattacks. The EU has also encouraged citizens to be prepared to remain self-sufficient for at least 72 hours during a major crisis.

Finland recently conducted Europe’s largest civil-defense exercise since World War II, while European leaders continue discussing stronger collective responses to emerging security threats.

Ecumenical Unity Apostasy

 

The Awaken The Nation event in Washington DC is an ecumenical unity event that is heretical and should be avoided. This is a multi-religious gathering led by New Apostolic Reformation heretics. People of many false religions gather for preaching, teaching, as well as praise and worship. God's Word is clear that we are not to even sit down to a meal together with someone who claims to be a believer but is in a false religion.

The NAR false Apostles, and self-proclaimed prophets, that lead this event are of a demonic spirit and they are offering up strange fire to a Holy God who does NOT know them. Today, the angel of the Lord told me that the praise and worship offered up at this event is detestable and is the habitation of MANY DEMONS. The harlot Babylon church now has female apostles. The Word of God clearly has no meaning to them. Apostles, pastors, as well as elders, are to be men.

They are also making a lot of money off this cesspool of wickedness. I have listed the prices below from their website. It is clear that these prosperity gospel ministers are all about money. Christ said, "freely you have received, freely give."

Good Teaching on Sound Doctrine by David Wilkerson

 

 This is a good teaching on sound doctrine. It's time for the churches to wake up and realize that their dead sermons and theology are sending people to Hell. Repentance is not a one-time event. Repentance is a lifestyle, also known as being born again.

ICE has Detained Over 6,200 Children

 

ICE has detained more than 6,200 children since Trump took office, at least 500 of them three years old or younger, and the average stay keeps growing.

Mothers describe worms and mold in the food, metal bunks in rooms shared with a dozen strangers, kids constantly sick, some cutting themselves or talking about suicide. Two measles cases turned up inside. DHS says detainees are "being provided with proper medical care" and three meals a day evaluated by dieticians.

The country's largest family detention center sits in Dilley, Texas, 72 miles south of San Antonio, run by the private prison company CoreCivic. It holds up to 2,400 parents and children. ICE does not allow journalists inside.

A Venezuelan mother, Maria Betania, was arrested with her two kids while they were walking to the school bus stop. They spent 17 days in Dilley before a federal judge ordered them released.

A pastor in San Antonio who meets detainees' families every week says roughly one in four families in her congregation has had someone arrested and deported.

Around 3,500 people have cycled through Dilley since it reopened, more than half of them minors. That is more people than live in the town of Dilley itself.

A 1997 court settlement limits detention of children to about 20 days. At least 60 kids have been held there for 100 days or longer, among them a 16-year-old Los Angeles student who had planned to try out for varsity tennis and has now spent 123 days locked up after Marco Rubio ordered his family's green cards revoked.

Ariana Velasquez, 14, held with her mother for about 45 days, wrote: "Since I got to this Center all you will feel is sadness and mostly depression."

The Seven Churches of Revelation, Part 1: Ephesus (Written by my Wife)

 

The Seven Churches of Revelation, Part 1: Ephesus

I was not sure what to write about next, but as I was scrolling through my homepage on my ministry's Facebook page, I saw three different artwork images created that listed the seven churches in Revelation.  I knew I had my answer. I know this is a topic that had been written on probably thousands of times, but I cannot assume the three postings from pages I do not even follow, as a mere coincidence.  I know many people have probably done a better job writing on this subject, but this is my humble commentary.  (Here are part 1 and 2 of my husband's excellent writings on the 7 churches: https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2026/04/revelation-21-29-seven-churches-part.html & https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2026/04/revelation-31-22-seven-churches-part.html )

This is not a deep historical dive into each church, but I am mostly going to be showing us how we can apply each message to our own lives. 

(Revelation 2:1) Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks.

Let's go back to chapter 1. When John begins reporting his revelation from God, he tells us his description of Jesus.  Chapter 1 is too long to list here, but please read the entire chapter on your own.  Here is a brief excerpt from John's description (or you can read Revelation 1:1-20 here from my Bible Journal https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2025/05/revelation-11-20.html )

(Revelation 1:10-16) I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Such a beautiful and majestic description!  You will see in chapter 2 that he also mentions the 7 stars and 7 candlesticks.  In verse 20, Jesus explains this:

(Revelation 1:20) The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. 

Now we will explore these 7 churches one at a time.

(Revelation 2:2) 'I know thy works..."

You will notice that to each and every church Jesus states, "I know thy works."  No, our works can never earn our salvation, but our works very much do matter and all we do is being observed and recorded.  We will all be accountable for our works.  

(Romans 14:10-11) For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, "As I live," saith the Lord, "every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."   

(Proverbs 24:12) Doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not He render to every man according to his works?

(Ecclesiastes 12:14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

I don't mean to dwell on the judgment issue, but I believe that if more people really comprehended the fact that we will all be judged for all our actions, we would be so much more careful in our choices, so here are just two more:

(Matthew 16:27) [Jesus said], "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works."

(Revelation 20:12-13) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Now back to Revelation, chapter 2.

(Revelation 2:2) 'I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.'

Jesus loves to report the good things He sees in people because He wants so much for each of us to succeed in our spiritual walk with the Holy Trinity.  (2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord... is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.) He wants to encourage us to serve Him with all of our hearts. mind, and strength.  He will uphold us when no one else stands by us.  He will be our Champion and cheer us on when everyone else is trying to drag us down.  He will be our strength and help us go against the flow of an immoral world. (Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.)

For the church of Ephesus, Jesus is pleased with their labor and patience.  He mentions their labor twice.  It can be very difficult to labor for the cause of Christ.  Finances, bad health, and
 lack of other resources can make it hard. However, God does not want our excuses why we cannot serve Him but is very pleased when we just get in there and serve Him in whatever ability we posses.  Have you heard this song written by Kittie L. Suffield: "Little is much when God is in it? Labor not for wealth or fame; There's a crown and you can win it, If you go in Jesus' name."?  So true.  But may we seek more to lay our crown at His feet than to seek our own glory.

It is often difficult to find patience when we endure trials (Romans 5:3-4- And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:) as well as being patient with others when they exasperate us (1 Timothy 6:11 -But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.).  As I mentioned above, this series is not a historical documentary, but more of a personal one for each of us.  Therefore, I do not know what type of patience Jesus was referring to in reference to the Ephesians, but we can be certain, that both types of patience please the Lord.

There are so many ways we can choose to stand against evil.  It can be in the forms of injustice or moral issues.  In this case Jesus says here that He is pleased with those whose intolerance of evil is exposing the false apostles as liars.  Some people may get angry when a True follower of Jesus points out a false belief or heretical spiritual leader, but as long as it is done with tact and in order to help open the eyes of others, it is what Jesus would like us to do.  We do not want to turn a blind eye when we see millions following a false preacher or false messiah. (Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. & Matthew 15:14 -They be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.)

(Revelation 2:4-5) 'Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.'

Verses 4-5 are enough to convince me that eternal security is false doctrine (although there are many other verses in the Bible that also say the same).  When we fall away from our First Love, our walk with Jesus Christ, our candlestick can be removed out of heaven.  But the great news is that Jesus gives each and every one of us a chance to fix our mistakes.  When we repent and repeat our first works (dedicating our life to God, asking for forgiveness of sins, possibly even another baptism), He will take us back! (Revelation 2:6) 'But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.'

Jesus again points out a positive quality the Ephesians possess. He again recognizes and appreciates that they hated sinful practices.  We should emulate this attitude. (Romans 12:9 - Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.)

To quickly sum up the deeds of the Nicolaitanes (Nicolaitans, in other version) that Jesus hated, they were full of idolatrous compromise and sexual immorality, which they justified by a distorted teaching that perverted grace into a license to sin. (1 Corinthians 10:14 - Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. & 2 Timothy 2:22 - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.)

(Revelation 2:7) "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." 

This last verse to the church of Ephesus is exactly why I want to share all 7 messages of the churches so we can see how we can relate.  Because Jesus wants all of us to hear these messages.

To overcome means we have overcome sin in our lives.  Not that any of us will ever be perfect, of course, but that we can overcome temptations to sin and conquer our fleshly desires to please Jesus.  When we choose the plan of salvation and continue to walk in ways of holiness, we too we be able to eat of the tree of life in God's eternal paradise!  

(1 John 5:3-4) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world.

The Seven Churches of Revelation, Part 2: Smyrna (Written by my wife)

(Revelation 2:8) And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; "These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive.'

Praise King Jesus; He is alive!  Jesus willingly endured a horrible death for our salvation, ascended into Hell to preach to the souls there, and then rose again, so we can have eternal life with The Holy Trinity in a forever Paradise!   

(Philippians 2:5-11) ...Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

(1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

(1 Peter 3:18-22) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison... The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

(Revelation 2:9 'I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.'

In part 1, I listed several scriptures that show that we will be held accountable for our works, so I will not post them again for each part of this series, but if you need a reminder, you can go back to part 1 and re-read them or do a Bible verse search on the phrase "according to works."  And again, I do not believe we can ever earn our salvation, as it is only by the blood of Jesus, not by rituals or empty religions that can save our souls. 

God not only sees our works, but also our struggles.  He says here that He sees tribulations and poverty. In this life we will struggle in most every area, through loss of loved ones, health issues, persecutions to varying degrees, as well as some of us may also struggle financially.  God does not always make a way out of our tribulations, but He will give us the strength to endure. Jesus often reminds me that in my times of physical struggles, He is holding my hand to offer comfort and strength. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 - And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.")  

Some may get angry with God for not rescuing them, but we need to remember that some things must be endured to fulfill a certain purpose for ourselves or others, we may be being tested to see how much faith we have, we may be lacking in morality and therefore blocking God's rescue, or we just simply live in a fallen world and bad things happen.  Regardless of the reasons, please try not to blame God, but focus on the bigger, eternal picture of hope.

(John 16:33) "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Yes, I know, finding "cheer" in the middle of a storm is not always easy, but someday, if we choose to accept the free gift of salvation and continue down paths of holiness (Luke 13:23-24 - Then said one unto Him, "Lord, are there few that be saved?" And He said unto them, "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."), the troubles of this world will all be over, and the bad times will either all make sense or they simply won't matter at all!

(Revelation 7:16-17) They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. 

Because I wanted to write this in the true context of what Jesus meant when He acknowledges that people of Smyrna were in poverty, but then says, "but thou art rich." I am going to touch on history a bit, even though I said I wouldn't.  Smyrna was a prosperous city, but the true Christians were poor due to refusing to follow the ways of the false Roman religion.  Therefore, they were persecuted and socially excluded so it was difficult for them to prosper.  When Jesus says they are rich, in this case He means they were rich spiritually because they chose to take a stand against the false cults.  May we also always be brave enough to risk even our financial situation rather than compromise our walk with Jesus!  If the only way to make money is to serve a false god (or to make money in a corrupt or dishonest manner), then it is better to be poor rather than lose your soul.  Eternal riches are worth so much more than the temporal ones!

(Mark 8:36) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 

(Matthew 6:19-21) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The message then goes on to call out the blasphemy of those who pretend to be believers but are indeed NOT following the True gospel. Although the term "Jews" is used here, remember we are under a NEW covenant and in this case, Jews can mean anyone who is a True follower of Jesus Christ. There are plenty of people who pretend to serve the Lord but refuse to give up worldly ways, are only playing the part of a spiritual person to look holy, or are just simply pretending to be a Christian for the sake of fame, power, and positive attention. But make no mistake, you may fool a few or a lot of people, but you can NEVER fool God; He sees all that is in your heart. 

(Mark 7:6-9) He answered and said unto them, "Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."

(Matthew 7:22-23) "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

(Revelation 2:10) 'Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.'

To apply this to our lives, there will be a time in the very near future where those who refuse to go into hiding during the tribulation (or don't have time to hide) will be persecuted.  Those who faithfully take a stand against the mark of the Beast may be martyred. I am not sure why this verse specifically mentions 10 days, but I do know that all those in the past, present, and future who will die for the sake of the gospel will receive a reward in Heaven for such a sacrifice.   

(Revelation 6:9-11) ...I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held... And white robes were given unto every one of them;

(Revelation 7:13-14) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?" And I said unto him, "Sir, thou knowest." And he said to me, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

(Revelation 2:11) 'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.'"

As I mentioned in part 1, Jesus wants all of us to hear these messages.  When we overcome living in the dark sins of life and choose the Light of Jesus, we will be spared the death of hell.

Due to Trump's tariffs and wars, the world's economies are in dire straits. In the next few years, it is going to get a lot worse. Groceries, gas, water, electricity, as well as real estate, are already unaffordable for most.

Trump is asking for 1.5 trillion dollars to build up the military, as well as to build new missiles, and advanced nuclear bombs. History has proven that when a nation spends money on weapons, it intends to use them. Obviously, this military buildup is for offensive warfare.

Trump has recently said several times now, that we can't afford Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, or daycare services, because we are involved in wars. He doesn't care about the welfare of the American people because he is fixated on himself, and his desires. Trump is a man of war and conquest. He needs his military parades, Triumphant Arch, golden statues of himself, as well as a ballroom in the White House.

In the recent past Trump said," Let the poor children starve." Sadly, he meant it.

Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Donald Trump’s religiously framed political messaging returned to the spotlight at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on September 10, 2026. A video presented at the American Airlines Center suggested that “God made Trump” for the current political moment, portraying him through explicitly religious imagery and language. Trump had also resurfaced the video on Truth Social shortly before the convention. Within the video, messianic terminology is used. The video states: He is a shepherd that will never leave us, nor forsake us, God made Trump. This is a passage from the Bible about the Lord Jesus Christ.

The presentation continues a broader pattern of Trump-centered religious messaging. Earlier statements and campaign material have included his 2019 “chosen one” comment, his 2025 claim that God saved him for a purpose, and his comments connecting peace efforts with reaching heaven. Those earlier episodes provide context, but the current news development is the renewed use of the “God Made Trump” message during the 2026 midterm campaign.

Many people worship Trump as the American Messiah. They consider him to be chosen by God to usher in a golden age for America. Donald Trump is a sexual predator who has been mentioned in the Epstein files over 300,000 times. He is a very vile man, as well as a convicted felon. God has allowed him to have a mouth that speaks blasphemies. Trump is the Little Horn of Daniel who magnifies and worships himself above all that is called God. Trump is the Lawless One, also known as the Beast, or Antichrist.

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

(A Warning from God: Christians Stop the Fighting on Facebook)

 The Lord gave me a long dream, and the message remained after I was awake and in the Spirit. The Lord is very displeased with the Facebook Christian groups and pages. Non-Christians are watching all of the fighting, arguing, name calling, belittling, religious and doctrinal war going on.

 This flesh fest of those who claim to be Christians is pushing people away from Christ and salvation. The world is watching the consistent strife of those who claim to know the truth. Many claim to be contending for the faith through discussions. However, most are not civil, and act like spoiled, rude, children. People feel the need to attack one another over anything and everything.

There was a time when people respected their elders and especially the clergy. Those times are gone. I'm a 61-year-old minister. People aware of this have treated me worse than a felon in some of these groups. I have had people use profanity toward me, while telling me that I was going to Hell. I no longer participate in online groups or pages.

The Lord gave me a dream in the past to avoid these groups. I dreamed that a friend and I were standing up to our waist in muddy water that stank. I took a drink of the water and spit it out, and said, "This is nasty, let's get out"!

In another dream, I was dressed as a police officer, and an angel of the Lord was also dressed as a police officer. The angel said to me, "There was a time when we were respected, but not anymore". The police uniforms that the angel and I were wearing were symbolic of spiritual authority. There is little fear of the Lord, or respect for his ministers left.

Remember people are watching us. We need to be a reflection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in all we say and do.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
